2023年12月下旬，我开始全身乏力，左头部抽动疼痛，左胸部刺痛，颈部隆起肿块，行走无力，有心力衰竭的感觉，我根本无法工作。在2024年1月初看了西医后，我被诊断为甲亢（甲状腺功能亢进）。服用西药三周后验血发现我的肝脏转氨酶(又称转氨酶)异常升高（转氨酶升高是肝功能障碍或肝损害的标志）。我别无选择，只能停止服用治疗甲状腺功能亢进的西药。西医建议我做手术。无奈之下，我找到刘志玲医生，开始中医治疗。经过刘医生两个月的咨询和治疗，我的肝脏转氨酶水平恢复正常，甲亢症状也消失了，各项检测指标都趋于正常。非常感谢欣中医的刘医师对我的帮助，让我找回健康，并且恢复了正常工作。
I started to have fatigue in late December 2023, throbbing pain in my left head, stabbing pain in my left chest, a raised lump in my neck, weakness to walk, a feeling of heart failure, and I couldn't work at all. After seeing a western doctor in early January 2024, I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. A blood test three weeks after taking western medicine found that my liver transaminases (also known as aminotransferases) were abnormally elevated [Note: Transaminases are enzymes that catalyse a transamination reaction between an amino acid and an α-keto acid. They are important in the synthesis of amino acids, which form proteins. Elevated transaminases is a sign of liver dysfunction or damage]. I had no choice but to stop taking the hyperthyroidism medication. The Western doctor recommended me to have a surgery but I did not pursue that option. In desperation, I found Dr. Liu Zhiling and proceeded with TCM Chinese medicine. After two months of consultation and treatment by Dr Liu, my liver transaminases level returned to normal, the symptoms of hyperthyroidism disappeared, and all the test indicators tended to normal. I am very grateful to Dr. Liu of HTCM for helping me and I have returned to work.
